David and Linzie had a St Mark’s church wedding in Cheltenham, followed by a Tithe Barn wedding reception, in Bishop’s Cleeve.
I met Linzie in the morning, where she was getting ready at her mum’s house in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. With several sisters, who were all bridesmaids, the house filled up very quickly!
Whilst Linzie was doing her wedding makeup, I headed outside into the garden to do some detail shots of Linzie’s tiara and wedding shoes.
There was a family friend at the house, who was a rather handy hairdresser! He found himself very busy, doing the wedding hair for the bridesmaids and flower girls before the wedding cars arrived.
After photographing everyone getting ready, I made my way to the other side of Cheltenham, to get ready for the St Mark’s church wedding.
When I arrived at the the church, David and his best man were waiting outside for the arrival of the guests. I just had time to quickly photograph the wedding rings before the guests started to arrive.
A little later on, David made his way to the front of the church, and the bridal party arrived outside.
The St Mark’s church wedding service was lovely, and the church itself made for a pretty backdrop for the group shots afterwards.
We used the church gardens for the group and couples shots, as the Tithe Barn in Bishop’s Cleeve is lacking in outside space.
The couples choice of wedding car was really fab and looked great in the pictures!
Once we arrived at the Tithe Barn, we dressed one of the kids up in the drivers hat and gloves and put him in the drivers seat! This made for some rather cute and funny shots.
A family friend had decorated the Tithe Barn ready for the wedding reception and they did an amazing job!
