Oban wedding photographer, Chloé Timms of Chloe Jane Wedding Photography.

As an Oban wedding photographer, I provide my clients with documentary wedding photography to capture the story and essence of their wedding day.

My style of photography is very natural and creative, which lends itself perfectly to my documentary style. I love to work with couples who want to put some time aside for their photography on their wedding day. Having the opportunity to have some one on one time with my clients, really does make for the best images. Where possible, I like to have the opportunity to do this twice during the wedding day. It really doesn’t need to be for long, but I promise you it will be worth it. This time can also be a refreshing moment of reflection for my couples. A chance to catch a breath and have a moment for just the two of you.

Other than the couples shots and the group images, I spend the majority of the day keeping out of the way as much as possible. Having a documentary style simply means that I capture your day as naturally as possible. Your wedding shots will be mainly made up of real moments. Even when we are capturing your couples shots, we will be aiming to get these looking as natural as possible. Natural images always look mesmerising, timeless and simply beautiful.

One of the aspects of wedding photography that I pride myself in is the detail shots. I absolutely love creating pretty setups of the wedding rings and jewellery where possible, along with the flowers, shoes and dress. These shots make absolutely gorgeous additions to a wedding album, but also set the tone beautifully when you view your online gallery.

Wedding photography for me is the most rewarding job that I could have. I can honestly say that I really do love what I do, and it’s always such an amazing feeling to be a part of each and every wedding.
