Hi, great to have you here! My name is Chloé (I know, shocker considering by business name) and I specialise in wedding photography for wild hearted romantics. Argyll, Scotland and BEYOND!
I'm forever trying to get on top of my editing.. I have so much new work to add to this website! For more recent work, be sure to check out my Instagram. You'll find a link in various places on the site
I am the solo person working at Chloe Jane Wedding Photography. I write every email, take every picture and edit every last one of them myself. I am incredibly passionate about my work and genuinely get excited for every wedding and every time I hit send on a finished gallery! I've been shooting weddings for 15 years, so I've photographed everything from two person elopements to huge celebrations with more guests than I could count. I used to get so nervous before weddings, but with how many I have photographed now, it's all excitement and no nerves!
My shooting style is creative, romantic and fun! I LOVE being a wedding photographer and bring the energy and wing woman vibes to every wedding I shoot!
My absolute goal at every wedding I photograph is to show the full story of what happened on the day.. the details, emotions, fun and love.. maybe some questionable dancing too! Hitting send on a gallery and sharing hundres of pictures that I know my clients will absolutely adore is just the best feeling!
I always want my couples to have the best day. And yes, sometimes that means I will try to help the bride hold back some pre-wedding tears, rather than snapping away and adding to what can feel like an overwhelming situation. I read the room and I truly do care about my clients. For those who are nervous about having their picture taken, you will be in very safe hands!
I'll try and give you a small snippet of an overview of 'about me' on a more personal level.
In 2018 I relocated from Gloucestershire to Lochgoilhead after visiting the village on holiday. After spending each morning crying into my cereal whilst stood on the beach, because I couldn't imaging ever having to leave, a move was inevitable. I am originally from Scotland, so I think on some level it really did feel like coming home.
I have a son, boyfriend and two dogs - if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen them featuring on my stories. They are wonderful and always so supportive of me following my dream of being in the wedding industry. Not the dogs, they hate me leaving the house! I have a sheltie cross and working cocker spaniel who's energy matches the size of her silly ears.
I like to be outdoors, walking, biking and being out on the water are my favourite outdoorsy things and I love to travel, whether that's exploring Scotland via the caravan or jumping on a plane. I loved to run, but a serious leg injury in 2025 has meant I had to knock that on the head, which is something I'm still adjusting to. I'm a huge fan of just tinkering in my garden, which overlooks Loch Goil. 7 is my lucky number and I love Italian food and seafood. I'm a secret geek and love The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, I used to snuggle up with my mum and listen to the CD's. I love to go on adventures around Scotland and am at my happiest on a sandy beach. You're more likely to find me exploring rock pools than sipping a cocktail on a lounger.. I also LOVE a gadget and having a robot to stop me doing a boring tasks at home is always going to make me happy! And breathe! Maybe you've found a connection in there and I hope you have!
You can find me on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with my camera adventures.
