I LOVED being Ben & Rebekah’s Taynuilt wedding photographer! The couple got married on a cottage balcony, overlooking Loch Awe.
After the ceremony, we went exploring around Dalavich, heading down to the jetty and the little beach just outside the cottage. We went waterfall hunting, which was rather successful and amazingly timed for the stunning light.
It was one of the wedding that really sticks in my mind. I genuinely laughed a lot and loved every minute of it.
The road to Dalavich was a bit of an adventure in itself! I don’t usually get travel sick when I’m driving, but this road definitely tested me! I arrived feeling a bit green, but it was 100% worth it to be part of such a special wedding.
Loch Awe really is such a stunning place, and weddings like this remind me why I love working in this area. I’d absolutely love to be back for another Dalavich or Taynuilt wedding, and it’s definitely somewhere I’ll be coming back to with my own family (and maybe a boat next time!). If you’ve never been, I’d highly recommend a visit.
