Thomas & Janey’s December wedding photography at Stonefield Castle. It was a lovely winter day, with a beautiful indoor ceremony, followed by group shots out on the patio. It’s always worth the cold for natural light!
One of the things I love most about Stonefield Castle is how dog friendly it is. It’s always so nice when couples can include their dogs in the wedding photos, and it just adds even more personality to the day! I always say that dogs and beaches are a bonus!
After the group shots, we headed off for the couples shoot around the grounds, which is honestly one of my favourite places for photos. There are so many different backdrops to choose from. The bridge is always a favourite of mine, and the walk down to the beach! I really must book in for an overnight stay at some point! A family date with the dogs would be absolutely wonderful!
It was also great to be working again with some familiar faces, with Argyll & Bute registrars conducting the ceremony and LeeAnne Fraser working her hair and makeup magic. It always feels like a bit of a dream team when everything comes together like that.
Stonefield Castle really is such a special venue. The staff are fantastic, the setting is incredible, and the food is always something I look forward! I’m already looking forward to being back again soon as a Stonefield Castle wedding photographer.
