A day as Janine & Dylan’s Inveraray Castle wedding photographer. The couple travelled all the way from America for their perfect Scottish wedding, and it couldn’t have been a more romantic day!

They got ready at The George Hotel in Inveraray, where we also did a ‘first look’. This is something that is a lot more popular in America, but is starting to get more popular over here. Doing the couples shoot before the ceremony really isn’t something that I’m used to doing, but it was great fun! We went to some of my favourite spots around the town for pictures. Inveraray is such a great place for varying backdrops!

After that, we made our way up to Inveraray Castle for the ceremony. The couple had booked the library room in the castle for their ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone celebrated together with glasses of champagne and cakes.

Inveraray Castle is such an incredible place for wedding photos. The setting, the architecture, and the surrounding scenery all come together to create something really special. It was also great to be working again with Argyll & Bute registrars, who are wonderful at what they do!

Weddings like this are exactly why I love being an Inveraray Castle wedding photographer!
