An afternoon as Andreas & Sarah’s Kilchurn Castle elopement photographer. It was one of those classic elopements with no guests.. Just the bride and groom, a few sheep, and some Highland coos watching on.
The ceremony took place at Kilchurn Grazings, just opposite Kilchurn Castle on the edge of Loch Awe. It’s such a special spot, with the castle ruins and Loch Awe creating the most amazing backdrop.
After the ceremony, we made the most of the land for the couples shoot. With wellies on, we braved the boggy ground and made the most of the scenery. It’s always worth it for the views and different angles! It’s one of those locations that always feels a bit magical, especially when you have it all to yourselves.
