An afternoon as David & Teresa’s Otter Ferry elopement photographer. This was actually the second wedding I photographed that day!
We started at a cosy cabin on Ballimore Estate, where the couple got ready for their intimate elopement. It was just the two of them, along with David’s two sons who had travelled over from America.
The ceremony took place on the banks of Loch Fyne, and the weather definitely made its presence known! It was a VERY windy day, but it only added to the atmosphere.
Argyll & Bute registrars conducted the ceremony and Munro Bagpiper worked his magic. Bagpipes are surely the most Scottish sounding thing in the world!
Afterwards, we headed down the road to The Oystercatcher, where the register was signed right on the bar! Another wedding where I got to be a witness, but my first time signing the register on a bar! I’m sure it won’t be the last! This was followed by an obligatory wee dram for the newlyweds and a few more photos outside to round off the day.
It was such a fun and unique elopement that full of personality and quirkiness! Days like this are exactly why I love being an Otter Ferry elopement photographer.
