A day as Jordan & Lydia’s Carrick Castle Estate wedding photographer . It’s a venue I’ve worked at many times now, and it’s always a pleasure to be back—it never disappoints.
Their day really centred around their love story and their family, which made it feel so personal from start to finish. Their two young children were a big part of the day, and it was so lovely to capture those moments with them—it just added even more meaning to everything.
We headed up the hill for the couples shoot, which was so much fun. I loved getting creative with the smoke bombs—it made for some really cool, relaxed images and lots of laughs along the way. Lydia’s dress was absolutely beautiful as well, it suited the whole setting perfectly.
The speeches were one of the standout parts of the day. They were so heartfelt, and hearing more about what Jordan & Lydia have been through together was emotional in the best way. It really showed just how strong their relationship is.
