A soggy afternoon as Sean & Jade’s Old Lachlan Castle elopement photographer!
I LOVE elopements, and this one was extra special.. it was a secret ceremony, and I even got to be a witness (and to make friends the most handsome corgi that I have ever seen!).
The couple chose to include an Oathing Stone in their ceremony, which is always rather special! They launched it into Loch Fyne as part of their ceremony. I did have a giggle looking back through the pictures of this. The wind caught Jade’s scarf and covered his eyes completely for the launching! An inside out umbrella also gave me a little amusement! You can always rely on Argyll weddings to be a little unpredictable.
We had the dramatic backdrop of the castle ruins, which made for some truly stunning shots. The wind and rain added to the atmosphere and it truly was a very memorable day.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend the afternoon with Sean & Jade and capture such a personal, romantic, and adventurous day.
