I had such a great time photographing Chris & Claire’s wedding at St Patrick’s Parish in Dumbarton. It was a beautiful, traditional church ceremony that lasted about an hour, full of emotion and love. Claire got ready at a family home, which made the morning feel really relaxed and personal.
After the ceremony, we headed to some lovely local gardens for a few couple shots. The gardens were perfect for a relaxed walk and some natural, fun photos of them together. Then it was back to the St Patrick’s Church Hall for the wedding breakfast and celebrations.
One of the funniest things about the day was that we ended up doing the group photos after the wedding breakfast! I don’t think I’ve ever done that before, but it made for some really fun and relaxed pictures, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Chris and Claire were such a fun couple to work with, and their guests were full of energy too. If you’re getting married in Dumbarton or nearby and want photos that show the real fun and emotions of your day, this is exactly the kind of wedding I love to shoot.
