It was such a wonderful day, with great weather and truly wonderful people. I spent the day laughing, smiling and eating some delicious food!

One of my favourite things about being a Stonefield Castle wedding photographer, is the absolutely stunning scenic backdrops. Indoors, the staircase makes for a very dramatic bridal portrait. Like the one below of Beth:

The gardens are absolutely stunning and lead all the way down to Loch Fyne. The perfect spot for some romantic couples shots! If you don’t fancy walking down to the beach in your wedding dress, there’s a nice grassy area elevated above the beach.

This is one of those venues where you will be super excited for your friends and family to arrive and be in awe of the stunning scenery. There’s lots of beautiful spots, within walking distance AND you can bring your beloved doggy family members with you too! Speaking from experience, the food is also amazing. I know I already mentioned eating delicious food, but it really is very nice!

There’s plenty of room for your guests to all spread out and truly enjoy the venue, with different rooms and lots of garden space for them to explore. With plenty of rooms on site for guests, everyone can join in the fun, without having to worry about staying elsewhere.

This truly is a wonderful venue, with accommodating staff, insane views and beautiful Scottish charm. I really do love being a Stonefield Castle wedding photographer and am excited to be back shooting there soon! Different seasons result in the gardens looking very different for the couples shots, but always beautiful! Beth and James’ Stonefield Castle wedding was in May, so the gardens were bursting with colour. The honeysuckle was in full bloom, meaning that anywhere outside smells simply amazing!

For the couples shots, I’m used to it just being me with the bride and groom.. but this was not the case for this wedding! At one point there were eight of us, with two dogs 🙂 the entourage were there to ensure the dress was kept clean at all times! A new one for me, but it was really fun having some silly people along for the adventure 🙂 I think I was laughing for the majority of it!

A wonderful day, with a great bunch of people and a shed load of dogs. My kind of day!
