Carrick Castle wedding photographer, Chloe Jane Wedding Photography.
In summer 2018 I had the honour of being the Carrick Castle wedding photographer of Angie and Stuart. I am a recommended photographer for Carrick Castle Estate, so I’m very lucky to shoot regularly at this wonderful venue and I know lots of good spots for pictures!
The couple had an intimate celebration, surrounded by their family and friends. They rented Carrick Castle Estate to host both their wedding ceremony and reception. This beautiful venue gave them the freedom to do just as they wanted with the space.
Angie wore the most beautiful blue dress and she looked absolutely fabulous. This is a bride who definitely had her something blue in place!
The ceremony was conducted on the venue balcony, giving this wedding the most incredible backdrop you can imagine. Carrick Castle Estate has a stunning location, overlooking Loch Goil and the surrounding mountains.
After the service and signing of the register, we made our way out for the group and couples shots. During the couples shots, we had the opportunity to include Tilly the golden eagle! I had no idea that Tilly was coming along for the shoot, so that was an amazing surprise for me! I think having a bride in blue and groom in a kilt, whilst holding a golden eagle, is a combination that may not be lucky enough to have again!
This is a wedding that I will not be forgetting! I was only with this couple for a short time on their wedding day, but what I experienced was wonderful. Love, laughter and a prosecco bar. What is not to love?!
I am also very proud to say that this wedding has been picked up by Tie The Knot Scotland. The magazine chose this wedding as a case study and featured it in print. To hear more about the magazine article, please click here.
