My day as a Carrick Castle wedding photographer for the wonderful Fiona & James!
It was a day full of emotion in so many ways, but these two spent the day smiling, laughing and embracing the classic rainy Argyll weather!
It was easy to see why everyone had such lovely things to say about them, because they were an absolute joy to be around. This small selection of images really is the tip of the iceberg in showing what an amazing day this was.
One of the sweetest moments was during the ceremony, where Fiona held their daughter in her arms. At one point, Fiona and James started bobbing up and down together to keep her entertained, which had everyone laughing.
The couples shoot was definitely a highlight for me, as it usually is at a Carrick Castle Estate wedding! We headed up the hill, making the most of the waterfall and different spots around the estate and Carrick Castle. It’s always such a fun venue for an adventure and we had such a good laugh along the way!
When it came to the evening celebrations, these two absolutely went for it! I’m always a fan of a bride who isn’t too precious about the dress and just wants to have the best time possible.
A big shoutout to all the amazing suppliers who helped bring everything together: Mademoiselle Wedding, Carrick Castle Estate, Cakes by Zhara, Marriage Scotland, Helensburgh Flowers, The Bride to Be (Hair), Lindsay Cloughley Makeup, Blue Juice Media, Gareloch Coaches, Regis Banqueting Ltd, Craig Campbell (Piper), Dramboogie, and Stretch Tents Scotland.
If you’re looking for a Carrick Castle wedding photographer then I would love to hear from you! I know the venue incredibly well and can take you to all the best locations.
