Laura & Scott ❤️ So sorry that I’ve been so quiet! A LOT of photography bookings plus a poorly dog has left me a little behind on the gram.. to say the least. A lot of uncertainty remains, but I will try to keep posting. There’s quite frankly too much to share not to and I get the guilts/frustrated when I don’t post. This account has oddly become somewhere that I feel comfortable being myself and posting much more personal things than I would on a ‘personal account’.. Quite enough of that. Holy macaroni, I am absolutely bushed after yesterday’s wedding 😅from leaving to returning home it was a 15 hour day. Glad to have today to recover before my wedding on Saturday.. You think wedding photography is all about being creative, until you are actually a wedding photographer and have to deal with a shit load of admin, marketing, sales, customer service and sleep deprivation.. add in the secret proposal shoots and it’s unsociable times for messaging from international bookings, a LOT of google satellite research and even some acting. Good morning! 3 weddings over the next 6 days feels like the true start to my wedding season. Oddly enough a large part of my preparation for the next two weddings was done yesterday.. it involved tackling the spaniel shed on wheels that was my car 😆😆😆I’m doing lifts and didn’t want to ruin anyone’s day by destroying their outfit. If you didn’t see my story yesterday.. I had another undercover proposal shoot! Grant and Chloe were on a visit back to Scotland from Australia, which was the perfect opportunity to pop the question 💍 I suggested filming the whole thing on the drone.. which meant I had to approach Grant and Chloe when they arrived on location, pretending to be someone practicing with a new toy and promised to email over the video if it was any good 😆I got them into position, looking out over the water.. set the drone to hover, then reached for my hidden camera to start snapping away. The most stressed I’ve been at an undercover proposal shoot for sure. I am now in the acting game too 😆What a wonderful thing to be a part of! I can see the venue from the bottom of my garden 🥰Then have a local property shoot on Friday. I’ve just invested in a drone and some other goodies, so today is an admin and kit trial day. Hello hello! Long time no post! Between a holiday, being a lurgy monster and then a dog injury, I have been rather quiet on here. That stops now!
